I am gonna do some plant dye today too. ☺Having some coffee and watching some inspiration. I also find that most plants give different shades of green even if they start out in other colors. I love birch leaves, they give a strong yellow if you make it concentrated. So boil them in more water then you'll need and boil it down. Love it. I have some books I inherited from my mom about plant dying yarn and fabric so I'm gonna peek in that and see if I find something fun that I haven't tried yet ☺

Just a tip to sharpen dull scissors of any blade: Cut aluminium foil or coke can tin with them! It's counter-intuitive, but it works - it's how I've sharpened scissors in my craft room for years!
