Larry was mad that they were joking about him trying to sexually assault them?? What a raging monster . I feel so sorry for Vince and everyone he wronged. I'm gay but I'd like to give parnes a punch in the kisser . He's the ones that makes gay people look bad. Leave the straight boys weirdo. He shouldnt have been spying on them either .

I appeared on the same bill with Billy and the Tornados in the 70’s. I remember him sitting in the dressing room in a gloriously tight pink leather suit. What a sweetheart. Went out with one of the band for a while who was also sweet and kind. How sad Billy’s life was so short. A really lovely man who deserved a longer life. God bless you Billy.

I often think that, if Billy had stayed in Mid Wales and not put himself under the strain of making a comeback, he would have lived a lot longer. I worked close to where Billy then lived in the ‘70s. He was obviously at peace and happy there. I am not surprised, it is a beautiful part of the world. Of course, if Billy had lived to complete his comeback, he would have been as sensational as ever.

I also worked in beautiful Mid Wales in the 1970s when Billy was there. I have often thought the same thing. If he had stayed in Mid Wales and not put himself under the strain of making a comeback, he could have had many more years. Of course, had he lived, he would have made a successful comeback effortlessly. He was still so beautiful and talented.

Billy was so courageous & bravely battled illness most of his life. It didn't stop him performing, singing & writing songs. He was a genius, tender, talented loving man who loved animals. What an amazing inspiration he was. It was his body that gave in. Billy battled right to the very end. I adore him

Remembering Billy Fury born on April 17, 1940. He was an English musician and actor. An early star of rock and roll, he equalled the Beatles' record of 24 hits in the 1960s and spent 332 weeks on the UK chart. His hit singles include "Wondrous Place", "Halfway to Paradise" and "Jealousy".
