I love the implication that David actually liked that despite continuously showing a slight hostile atitude 😂

Louis CK acting is like Joe Rogan’s stand-up comedy. Why can’t they just stick to what they r good at ? why do they have to do everything?

I guess David Lynch had to have conversations like this himself, but with the roles reversed: "So you want to make a film. You want to be a director. Do you have any experience with stories?" "Yes, of course. I'm an artist." "All right. Let's hear it." "Hear what?" "Hear the plot. Go." "Go?" "Let. Me. Hear. Your. Story. Now." "I really don't have a story yet." "You don't have a story yet?" "No. I'm not the kind of director who writes a plot down so he can explain what his film is about." "All right. You better leave my office." 😆

The first time i saw this, i didn't know who this man was. I had heard the name David Lynch before, and i was aware of his work, but i didn't really know him. I loved this character. I loved this actor. When i found out who this man was, the episode took on a new meaning and became twice as funny.

I realize this is just a show but Louie could’ve easily told him a few jokes from his standup routines shown in the show itself.
