I have a history of asthma and my daughter was diagnosed with asthma as a baby. I’m EXTREMELY thankful that you made and shared this with us🫂🫂 My daughter isn’t taking it serious so I just shared your video because not being able to breath is scary.

When I’m running my breath comes out fast and I struggle to breathe and I have itchy throat even tho I don’t have sickness and my bones in my neck and ribs is obvious but I’m kinda fat so do I have asthma? I didn’t tell about this on my parents tho

Asthma causes your airways to tighten and narrow, making it harder to breathe. Asthma has to be diagnosed by a doctor. They can provide treatments that can help with symptoms.

I've had 2 massive asthma attacks in the last 4 years and 1 moderate one. All related to the flu. I was alone all 3 times. Most happened in the middle of the night while asleep. Never happened before in my life. The 1st one was absolutely terrifying. Thankfully I survived. Very scary...

I have asthma but I think I have a flare up currently because my chest feels heavy and it’s hard to breathe, sleep, and my throat is so irritated. I don’t really feel like inhaler is helping… should I skip my workout tomorrow? Or do you think I will be ok? What is the actual danger of asthma? Because my Dr seems to think it’s not that big of a deal but I feel like I can’t breathe lol

Just read her story last night September 17th in the middle of an asthma attack.... no inhaler....wow.... peak asthma week?? Wow... I came to California on vacation... if I had known that. I would have made room for my nebulizer................ I left my nebulizer because it was too big.. or I had no space... Laura's story changed my life and my asthma attack plan. Thank you so much

I'm sorry for your loss. This brings so many tears. I almost succumbed to my asthma on July 31st. I walked to the E.R. too. I was tired of being treated like an anxiety case from some medical personnel. I have eisonephalic asthma, and you can have 100% saturation, but your chest will get tight as the mucus builds quickly to close your throat. It's a terrifying experience, and one can never know how it feels unless you have it. I am so sorry. You are right with this message.

@Sophiepretty132 they ended up giving me a cocktail of drugs. It worked, thank God. I mean, it's still a dangerous call to give all those drugs, but it beats ventilation. They almost initiated intubation.

Hello can you please respond to this comment please So I have really big trouble with breathing lately and sometimes it comes to the point of fainting. I really don’t know if this is asthma but because I have every single symptom on that list I’m scared now bc sometimes it even wakes me up at night and takes like 20 mins to go away, my breathing is like when you just finished PE at school, but I’m just sitting down though. I’ve told my mother a lot of times but she just keeps saying that it will go away and I’m overthinking it that’s why this is happening. But please respond to what happening because I’m not sure thank you if you read it 😊
@AAFANational Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay in responding. If you have symptoms, it would be best to see a doctor. They will take a careful history and possibly do some tests to see if it asthma or something else. Asthma symptoms can wake you up at night. Please try to convince your mom or other adult to help you see a doctor.

If I go to a cold room to a warm room, eating food that has preservatives, being too close to animals, getting upset is a trigger, fear or getting upset. Most of the time I'd rather not leave my apartment. Sometimes sitting still and have a cup of coffee helps.

shortness of breath from the time i wake up until the time i go sleep i constantly feel like im struggling for air through my nose and mouth breathing is too tiring too, im always in a state of panic and anxiety like a headless chicken and was diagnosed by a ear nose and throat specialist that i have polyps and been given steroid nasal drops which i have been taking for nearly 6 months now and they haven't helped at all but recently i have been doing research and polyps could be linked to asthma right? so just wondering if anyone can help me with this please? i have a follow up appointment with the ear nose and throat specialist next month, would it be worth asking for asthma tests? if anyone could help with this i would really appreciate it, ive been struggling to breath for nearly 16 years and im literally stuck in bed these days 😭

@@vitorfernandes6747 i honestly still feel this way all the time 😥 and are your saying it might be asthma because if you cant breath through your nose properly it can dry up and cause a panic right? i have actually asked my doctors since i wrote this comment if they can test me for asthma so i am currently waiting for a peak flow and spirometry test, hoping it helps 🙏
