I’m doing a Muffler delete on my GMC 5.3 but I’m not Doing dual exhaust I’m dumping it out in front of my rear tire hope it sounds half as good as yours!

Quick question! You said you replaced the stock muffler with a 3 inch piece of pipe then it goes down into the y pipe and out to 2.5 inch pipe! Will it change anything or cause poppin if I just use 2.5 inch pipe where you used 3 inch pipe that you know of? Mine is a 2013 GMC Sierra 5.3
