TOS is an unqualified POS ! It has virtually none of the brilliant features of SSE. It's clunky, cumbersome, slow, infested with scores of utterly unnecessary "features" and thus unnecessary steps, creating a rats maze to navigate through just to get simple things gone. It wastes a great amount of real estate on silly things that should have been dedicated for vital things. It lacks a small box to quickly execute trades, lacks quick access to watch lists, etc. SSE had everything on ONE page, easily visible, accessible and executable. Graphically TOS is chaotic, cluttered, unintuitive and clearly unsophisticated. These comments are from someone hired to design the 757 cockpit instrumentation and Lockheed's 3-D manufacturing schemata, with a Masters degree in Industrial Design. Schwab is forcing clients to be very uncomfortably crammed into a "Rube Goldberg" contraption that may very well spawn a rebellion. At the very least Schwab should be offering clients a choice between SSE and TOS. It has the best agents in the Industry, but boneheaded corp management.

Who have been the beneficiaries of 50% Capital gain tax? The real estate investors; not the people who buy homes to live. The stock/ crypto traders, who have no real contribution to the economy; the commodity traders (via Asset backed securities and Exchange traded funds) who priced out the real users of those commodities. Think about the thousand of families who have to buy gold for their children's marriage in India and elsewhere. They can't buy gold anymore because the speculators (so called investors) who bought Gold ETFs artificially inflated the Gold price. This whole system is a scam and must be done away with. The first step is tax Capital gain 100% like any other income. Well done Trudeau!

Stock and all these fund crap are a scam. Success isn't guaranteed manager still get paid regardless if the stock does well or not. If that's not a tell tail sign you have the shorter hand of the stick I don't know what to tell you. It's like MLM only the higher ups get to make profit while there's gotta be sacrificial lamb for winners to exist. Fallen victim once to stocks.

Getting rid of SSE is a mistake. I have officially left Schwab after over 20 years because of this garbage they're forcing down our throats. Trading options on ToS is horrendous.

I thought it was a good video and also brought into play laddering fixed income aswell as diversifying across types of fixed income, credit qualities, and time horizons. Although I can see why inverted yield curves do not always mean recession may be coming forth due to the fact that if interest rates are 10% right now, that is because a country is already in a recessionary environment asking for capital, and in the future if they go down to 5%, that generally means a country is less desperate for money, and thus in a healthier position... be nice to have replies.

If the federal reserve makes the money- that’s basically a product. If this is a capitalist society- there should be other “distributors” of money like products that can also be used. So the federal reserve is a monopolistic “money” making machine and that goes against the free market principles of capitalism…

i enjoyed the lesson, but was confused at the end with the covered call. having to do with why the seller would by a contract back. are you saying that no buyer has purchased the contract or that the buyer of the contract has not yer exercised the option? if the latter, i am confused as to why the buyer would allow the buyback seeing that if the trader exercised the option at that point they would make much more. any help is appreciated.
