Is it best to put the screen protector on before the phone is put in to the case?

The matte finish actually makes the phone a darkish grey. But I’ll take that over fingerprint Hell.

I almost got the teal iPhone 16 but went for black instead as it’s quite likely I would get tired of a bright color where as black or white stands the test of time. I’m glad Apple is back to real black and they dropped the midnight (blue) color.
