7 The White Paper was commissioned by Lee Guthrie and author by Roy R Davis PhD P.E. The paper describes the mechanical properties related to a unique variation of Euler’s Contain Column studies. how the integral of (x-a) could be (x-a)^2/2??? it is supposed to be x^2/2 -ax

If you think about it they're both right answers. expanding (x-a)^2 gives (x^2-2ax+a^2) where (a^2) will be the integration constant. Good question though!

What if we can't draw the tangent line in this video the graph is -ve to +ve but if it is +ve to -ve the the graph will be decreasing towards the root how can we draw tangent lines
