When I just started watching the show I was surprised that Morgana is portrayed as a caring and gentle soul, because based on my knowledge of the legend, the was the one who would plot against Arthur and his knights. So, I always knew that she would end up evil, I don't know why so many people are upset about it. The other thing though that I'm personally upset about is that they didn't make her a decent villain (if I can even put it this way) , they made her a deranged psychopath who totally lost her mind by the end of the series. Villains at most have a certain set of principles they follow, Morgana turned into a mentally unstable murderer with no principles who started killing her own kind. That's what I don't like about her character development. Other than that, the was destined to become a villain of the story, they just pushed it way too far.
