I realize that this is not a tropical climate (destination), it's like Indiana where there are four seasons. Whenever I see a place like this it reminds me of the Tropics like Florida... do you remember as a kid putting sun-tan lotion on your skin called TROPICANA ? it was in all different types, oil, lotion, etc. it was for getting a deep dark tan, well that's what I think of when I travel to FLORIDA and I thought places like this were the same, but I come to find out the water is cold and the weather is not the TROPICS. Where can I find the TROPICS, like Canne or the Canary Islands?

watch it once or twice. living there - it’s hard to think of anything worse. small rooms with access to narrow asphalt streets with eternally noisy motorcycles....

How could anyone who are not 100% fit go on this holliday, otherwise you would end up with a bloody heart attack, the steps are a nightmare, lol😊😊😊

Several years ago I went in November - it was sunny and warm and there were almost no tourists.

Positano is a beautiful scenic town but too over crowded in high summer.😝

I went to school outside philadelphia, PA, and I was told nothing but a bunch of lies about italians. They were always 10X too loud, they all had dark hair that was always slicked back with grease like Gavin Newsom, they all were always gesturing even when they arent talking, they were very very large individuals who had too many spiceyeyyyy mea tballlsaaaa. What in the living hell did i put up with the italians in my school acting like monkeys for???

It is obviously beautiful. Still, a bit cramped and crowded for my tastes.

Very nice but how can you enjoy gravel beaches? You'd have to drag a mattress down to the beach to lie down.

Sorry, buth there are a thousand more places in Italy equally as nice as Positano and way less touristi!

Incredibly beautiful, but incredibly stupid at the same time. One rock landslide, and that whole town, along with thousands of residents and tourists will be wiped out. Why would anyone build architecture that hangs off a very steep cliff that is eroding year by year?

Back in 1978 I went to this beautiful area plus Vesuvius and Pompeii and we saw pick pockets then in the back streets of Naples. Capri fantastic. Great memories.

We've visited once and it really is beautiful! but It's expensive and massively crowded. This year we will take the boat from Sorrento and admire the beauty of the coastline from there, but will not venture into Positano town again. Ravello is another lovely town further down the coast and did not seem as crowded as Positano. Your video is excellent and really does capture the vibe of the town.

Looks like a dystopian bee hive to me.

There are way nicer villages along the same coastline than this bloated, touristy place, laden with instagram attention whores. The public beach area is like 50 feet long and then it's a bunch of patio benches that you have to pay to use, so you're basically trapped in this little area between the boats coming in to give the instagram people little boat rides and crappy commercial beach patio furniture crap. Better to go somewhere else along the coast than this place.

Please don't post incorrect information, Positano is ONE of the most popular tourist resorts in Italy. Never heard of Capri, Sardinia, Lido of Venice, Rimini, Taormina? Besides, all the Amalfi coast including Positano and Amalfi is crawling with pickpockets that make your vacation less enjoyable for sure, and you won't find as many on the above locations. Double check your sources of information if you want to be credible...

CHE SCHIFO! I pedoni devono camminare in strada perche quei abusivi ristoratori nin lasciano lo spazio di caminare sulla coorsia pedonale. Capisco tavolino con 2 sedie opposte, ma tre sedie per ostacolare il camminamento è incivile! E poi dicono che rispettano le regole.
