This is the first animatic I’ve seen that makes the weight of the second part of the song set in (SA). Instead of showing metaphors of what would happen there’s parts that actually show the intentions. The pissed Odysseus face shortly after is exactly the emotion that was expected from the viewer lol. That is if I’m interpreting it correctly. This animatic is awesome, you did a good job!

Most these animatics have the bow wrong. The tensle strength on that bow would be low medium so not to hard to string. But how most of them here are stringing it is backwards. Still the wrong bow. Odysseus had a 'Palintonos' which was made from wood and bone had a draw weight of 80-100. BUT that's once it's strung.

I love seeing here and there the seething Ody in the bg among the suitors. Edit: also those two suitors so not going along with the rest and the vibe of the song is nice touch and nod to the odyssey if they are who I think they are

I think the way you drew Telemachus is my favorite so far he really does look like Odysseus' son and a fine/royal young man (and not overly young) who sure is capable of a few things as we saw in The Odyssey. Amazing :)

I love watching Epic animatics, especially Hold Them Down animatics, to see the different interpretations between artists, the styles, and the way the story is told. I also like seeing the things Jorge mentions in his videos or just jokes made among the cast turned into something either cool or lighthearted. I must say, what a brilliant ANIMATIC this is. Everytime I see one, I get inspired to make one and this really did it for me.

Amazing!! Even with little detail we can clearly see the story you’re telling with each frame. I love that at the end the men throw the furniture together and burn it, too distracted to see Odysseus. Also love how Penelope was willing to fight till the end. I appreciate the different perspectives throughout the animatic. Wonderful job! Epic fan animators never miss🤭

Funnily enough. You're supposed to heat the bow a little to make it bend(it softens the fibers and sinew to pliability)
