How I envy you... I traveled to Stockholm not so long ago and couldn't lift a drone because there were restricted no-fly zones EVERYWHERE.

very nice! How did you work around the drone restrictions?

Hi this is an excellent video. Please can you also let me know if any permissions are needed to shoot cityscapes in Singapore from amy authorities. Look forward to more such videos. Thanks.

I got my shot today and showed this video to the staff explaining what I was waiting for. I have no idea how an 8 second exposure is possible. I got fuzz at much faster shutter speeds and had to settle high res mode in the S1R 1/80, ISO 1600. The drinks and food was a splendid way to wait, but I did not dare having the camera balance by itself without the strap around my arm.

Elia, i stumbled across your channel before the pandemic hit. Your videos inspired me to try my hand in photography. After some time, i finally have that chance to explore a new creative side. I'm so glad to see you on the YT again and can't wait to see what is in the future and the magic you bring in moments of time.

Interesting and fun to watch. Adding blurred margins to fill the frame is a technique that many are using, but I'm not sure it adds much. I'm curious why people do this.

Mindy Tan had great tips for taking pictures, let people know what your doing, give them a chance to opt out. I like how she "went out of street photographer mode" and into "portrait" mode, and asked the person if she could take her picture. Great mindset demonstration.

A bit of a 2022 update on the Skybar at Trader's. Seems like they have really caught on to the mini-tripods, and the people working there have a habit of regularly checking on those who have brought cameras to ensure that tripods aren't being mounted on them. I went with a friend and whilst I wasn't using a mini tripod on mine (I did bring one though), a friend of mine tried using his, and a staff member did actually ask to see the bottom of his camera whilst he was using it. Oops. Needless to say, as I've learned from Grey and a few other local photographers, either make yourself a makeshift stable platform out of anything you can find, and/or take multiple bursts, then mean stack them in Photoshop to clear out any noise.

Greetings! Wanted to see if you are okay with embedding this wonderful video to a new travel blog called Altered by Adventure. We want to inspire others to get out and see the world again. You are extremely talented and show the beauty of Italy. Cinque Terre is one of our favorite places on earth. You have really captured the magic of this incredible country. We have such fond memories of our last trip in 2019 when the world was so different. It would only be a direct embed to WordPress, no alteration, and a citation of your other work. Just let us know if that is ok.

You can go there as Climber with professional gear. You can go as a Hiker. You can go as a devout, faithful human being for the monasteries. You can go with your wife/girlfriend for star gazing at night on top of a rock. I mean... Surreal experience.

I have spent a while trying to pick out an ideal holiday for me in Greece and later this year I will head to Meteora, for sure. Meteora looks and sounds very rich in all sorts of qualities. Should be as memorable as the handful of other places I've been to... China, Colombia and Iran. Yep! :) Awesome video, by the way, definitely helps confirm my choice! Your website has some stunning photography and I will be bookmarking that too for future inspirations!
