Quite honestly, this is the first time that I have seen an egg NOT stick on a new Lodge pan! You are apparently doing something right! I generally have to go through 4-5 thin oil coats/high temp oven cycles to get to this stage!

I have used bacon horseradish potato 🥔 chip dip. When at a restaurant that has a salad bar I will use blue cheese salad dressing. Hidden valley sressing also very good.

I started a small oil fire in the oven because of the sides with the lips. To easy to get oil to pool, so i'm try again with oiled up paper towel and spreading it that way .

Government agencies set rules for the dumbest people among us. Anybody with 1/2 a brain can skip the government guidance. (For example, just look at the evil CDC advice in 2020!) The only thing that counts is that the chicken reaches at least 165 degrees F. I go to 170 for white meat, and 180 - 190 for dark meat. Measure the temperature at several points in the thickest and center-most areas but don't hit bones. If any measurement is below 170 or 180, keep cooking for another 1/2 hour and remeasure then. No thermometer? Grow up and buy one. If you are concerned about food safety, it is a requirement. Stop overcooking your steaks and undercooking your chicken. Great video! Thighs are the best!

A bit of butter, mature chedder cheese and baked beans . Or butter with just baked beans on their own poured over the potatos .

I wish I would have seen this video before I started cooking my chicken quarters. I had them thawed out and put them in a LOT of chicken broth ... nearly covered to the top. I put them on high. It's been 4 hours, and I just noticed the broth bubbling, so I put them on low. It's smells good in here. LOL I just checked the temperature and it's reading 192-208 on various pieces (on top, easy to reach pieces). I might let them cook about another hour on low and then decide what's next. Thanks for the video. I'm going to do it your way next time, with maybe a little bit of broth in the bottom.

I've got a George grill and cook 2 5-6 ounce burgers to perfection in about 6 - 6 1/2 minutes. Works like a charm. One thing you may want to try to avoid a greasy mess, I put newspapers down over the rest of my stove to get 99% of the grease when I cook, just don't get it too close to the heat source.
