Too soon to say. This was just a test day to see what issues would arise, so far so good. Def needs a retune but biggest difference I could say for now is the torque. Feels a lot better in corners knowing I have torque to pull me out

2. 1st one the main bearing blew I believe. Then 2nd one last over 60 track days then seized on me, might’ve been caused from a couple over revs from the track day before it blew. Was testing a new diff with a higher final drive and mis revved the downshifts a few times

@@jakem8466 Damn, that's rough. That's my worst fear running my S2000 at the track, these engines are stupid expensive these days. Are you thinking you're going to drop another F series into it or go with something else like a K swap?

so far it’s pretty good. still not used to the gearing but def feels a lot easier to stay in vtec throughout various parts of the track where i usually would’ve fallen too far out of vtec or would’ve had to downshift to be in vtec

@@alejandroochoa3541 i’m running a rep (unsure of brand) version of the ASM fenders. It’s fiberglass so def not duraflex

Most likely they intentionally had to quiet down the exhaust. Laguna Seca has a strict 90 dB sound limit unfortunately.

on my most recent thunderhill video there should be one! only change would be a new 4.3 Cusco diff that just got put into the car

@@jakem8466 ever considered going supercharger rather than NA or running e85 on that setup the mod list is good man in the process of building my ap1, although I’m running fortune auto 500 series, the sound is amazing too man, I have the Berk test pipe with an hks exhaust single exit planning on running the Berk headers aswell. Nicely done!

@@jorgito1330 no not considering super charging but maybe built motor and a tune eventually. still feel like there’s lots of time left on the table with this power. even more so when i put in my new suspension and new differential

@@jakem8466 noted, I’ve been thinking about dropping the money on a supercharger kit but I’m going to start off with an na e85 setup on the track and get a feeler there is still a bunch of suspension mods I have to do before hand

not anytime soon, it’s my daily haha when i have 2 buckets in the s2000 then maybe i’ll consider borrowing for track days in this car

its a long list of mods but in short: - HKS SP coilovers - 17x9.5 ZE40's w/ Nankang CR1 Square - mild aero - misc suspension mods - stoptech front bbk Wouldnt have done it differently. Still building as I have Penske suspension and a Cusco diff waiting to go in. Best advice is start tracking stock with good tires, brakes and fluids to really learn this car

@@jakem8466 thx! Maybe I’ll see you out there one of these days. So far, I have kwv3, and some rs4 on stock wheels with some minor brake upgrades. Also did the roll bar and seats for safety. What camber are you running? Did you need to replace ball joints to achieve those settings?

@@jasonwang3413 Oh that’s more than enough to start tracking, you’re good! I have -3.5 camber all around. Front upper SPC ball joints were used to attain front camber but luckily ap1’s can get a good amount of rear camber with stock adjustments
