Question, what do you do with poopy diapers right after changing your baby?

I close them up and put them into a wet sack. I spray the poop into the toilet right before I wash them in the washing machine.

hey Teri! 🤗 I would like to hear your thoughts about Greener Odyssey bamboo hemp inserts, did you use them alone or with a fast absorber on top? I’m currently trying to choose some inserts for my Nora’s Nursery pocket diapers, because the microfibre ones that they came with are constantly leaking, even after an hour.. I don’t live in the US, I need to order them with international shipping and this makes the costs double it would be incredibly helpful if you could give me some details or suggestions of what you like to use the most thank you! ❤

Hi! I love the greener odyssey inserts! I prefer the ones with the AWJ lining around the edges because they prevent the edges of the insert from curling up. I use the inserts by themselves (no fast absorber). They work great! The only issue is they take forever to dry. I have to use two dry cycles on high heat. In the meantime, do you have any 100% cotton receiving blankets you could fold up or could you check your local stores for flour sack towels? Those would be better than the microfiber. Cotton just won’t hold as much as hemp.

when I was a baby, there was a cloth diaper delivery & cleaning service! Wish that kind of thing still existed. They'd clean your diapers for you and return them.

I’ve heard about that! I guess most people use disposable diapers now so most of them went out of business. That would be so convenient!

Ever thought maybe she took it off so she doesn't get poop on it? Or just has swollen hands at the moment so decided not to wear it? Or just doesn't have one for any reason? There are so many reasons she could not have one or is currently not wearing it.

I remember the flannel ones you folded like a kite. Was taught to fold at babysitting course, but only used while babysitting. Used “ Huggies “ but in my defence we didn’t have a well at the time.
