Tips for Freshman coming from somebody who ended freshman year with a 4.0 GPA and is now an upcoming sophmore: 1. Dont skip class youl regret it in the end! Just because your friends skip class doesnt mean you should do it to! 2. Focus Dont be distracted by your phone, When the teacher start to teach put it up and listen. For Example, I hated math class so bad cause I thought I was bad at it. I Wasnt i just wasnt listening in class however my freshman year I listened in math class and ended the school year with a 94 in that class! 3. Ask for help If you dont understand something ask for help! Trust me youl be happy you did it. 4. Study or dont To be honest I barley studied for anything and got good grades on almost everything. If you listen in class sometimes you wont have to study ! The Only classes I really studied for was Environmental Science, Spanish and Math. 5. Be kind to the teachers. I was very kind to all my teachers every morning id say good morning and I finish all my assignments on time and turn them in. If you do this some teachers may give you a free 100. I did all my work in on gave me one free 100. 6. Discuss your assignment with your teacher YES teachers mess up your grades. You have to check them trust me you wont regret it. and have fun! Highschool is a fun experience I made so many new friends and it was amazing so be yourself and have fun! and walk fast in the hallways !
