I don't know much about either of the crafts, but I'm pretty sure it's knitting? That little hoop thingy is called a round knitting loom, my grandma used them a lot. idk why it's considered knitting and not crochet. Honestly, to me it sounds more like weaving than anything else, but what do I know lol 🤷♀️

It's knitting. Crochet can not be replicated by machine. Handmade only.

Didn’t know you could do a flat (non tubular) piece. How does it stop at the end points? Or do you do that manually?

The machine came with the two options so when you switch to a flat patter it will stop

@@KnittingwithDiana el milímetro es lo mismo que el número, aveces hay hilos que dicen 3, 4 ó 5 y otros sólo dicen la medida en milímetros

Porque hay hilos que provocan que la máquina se ponga muy dura incluso comienza a trabajar forzada usé un hilo 5
