How much did you charge for that? I have a M1 mac mini that won't boot. I don't really need the data off of it, everything important I always put on external drives. Would fixing a M1 Mac Mini be worth it? It looks like a used one with the same specs would be 400 at the cheapest.

Hi, I am not sure if you’ll see my comment but my MacBook Pro used to do exactly that but the problem evolved unfortunately Now instead to have only the screen shutting down as per your video - the complete system crash and reboot I got the message you le Mac as a problem and the gpu panic report log Do you think the GPU Vcore chip is still impacted ? I have replaced the battery few days ago and it was doing that before Nevertheless the battery is a really good quality one and works perfectly well I don’t see any problem with it and the log is still focus on the gpu panic

i have two boards a1534 one is 2015 and one is 2016. The 2016 gets warm when i turn it on but no picture on both boards. How can i test to know whats wrong with them. Non of them show any amps taken when i plug them in the A is on 0 but when i plug my mac charger which is stronger the reading shows 20v and when i use the normal usb c phone charget it says 5v. The 2016 won’t light the led on the board but the 20v will. but no picture anyway. The 2015 shows the led light on on both chargers?

My 2015 MacBook is experiencing the same issue. I bought the mosfets, thinking it would be easy to find a local shop to handle the repair. Unfortunately, it's not. Every repair shop I've contacted refuses to do the repair-it's really hard to find a place willing to take this on!

What am I missing here? I've seen similar 'repairs' done by cutting through the layers; but, unlike this data recovery, those repairs had the machine working fine. HOW?? I don't understand how these boards keep working after cutting a big hole through multiple layers of traces...surely this cuts connections with many many different circuits et al? Would love a video explaining exactly what is happening and how/why this process works. Cheers!
@sindreskjelbostad64363 ай бұрын
In this case the data recovery was possible due to the circut in question and the location. Its "just" the backlight circuit and its close to the edge of the board. So its in a "isolated" spot. There is no real cross board traces running through here other then large ground planes. Now if the burn was more localized and in a more precurious spot, a full repair attempt might be possible. But you would have to remove layer by layer taking pictures for referance as you go, so that you can run wire's. Now if you drill a hole straight through, you can prety much just forget about it. But if you can get away with taking off for example 9 out of 16 layers, you can essentially rebuild it layer by layer. Putting down wire's on traces that need to be reconnected, cover it with epoxy or mask, connect next layer of traces, isolate again and basically repeat until you have rebuilt every layer. This takes a lot of time, patience and experience. And if you fuck it up, best case you have to remove it and do it all over again. Worst case, you send voltage where it shouldnt go and kill the laptop forever.

just a couple questions. i tune my ram R/T myself and have a lot to learn. i understand a harder shift can be worse on hard parts but better on clutch packs. iv got some torque management cut off but not all of it. so the only thing i need to touch is the normal shift tables? i always thought it would go back and forth between modes on its own depending on how im driving. im having trouble getting my part throttle acceleration and low speed cruising dialed in. sometimes accelerating really easy it will give you whiplash on the 1-2. but if i take off with any aggression, but not WOT, it will take a little longer to make the 1-2 and not hit hard at all. truck makes about 425whp and will light the rear tires up on the 1-2 shift if im not carful with the throttle. my WOT shifting is perfect im just struggling to learn to tune drivability into it.
