Agree with all the comments on this. I just realized I need to stick with the guitar and put away the sticks. This is top notch drumming. Pretty blown away. That KICK!!! Man. Also, very impressed by the video, cameras, editing, and sound. Rock on!

kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoPJgmiBf56igc0 Great job, I love how primordial and tribal this drum part is. I would love for you to check out my performance of this at Prog on the Ranch which is this cool place where musicians from around the world come together to play awesome prog music and I get to channel my Gavin Harrison, Neil Peart, Haken, Tesseract, The Contortionist, etc. This coming February I am actually playing a 45 minute Tool tribute set, Along with some Rush, Vola, Marillion, and Rats Return by Porcupine Tree with Jaco's nephew David Pastorius on bass! You've got a new subscriber, and I'd love your feedback as well. Rock on, Dr Dave

What pads are you using and what is the sticking for the intro? Tryna figure this one.
@justsomeguy26632 жыл бұрын
These are Mandala pads, the same pads Danny uses. The company that makes them have been sold out for over 5 years (I've been on a waiting list to get the next model if they're ever released). The sticking pattern is a R handed swiss army triplet, followed by a R handed flam tap (Rr), which leads into a L handed swiss army triplet followed by a L handed Flam tap (Ll). Repeat forever. The sticking on the tom intro is the same as the pads.

This is the world: attractive man plays complicated song perfectly gets 10,000 views. Attractive girl in tight clothes plays same said song not all that great gets 1,000,000 views. Women complain, point out sexism and inequality. World is lost to confusion and we continue to squabble over this backwards view of reality. 🤷♂️
