Holy shit. That was so little power and it moved. That HFI 1000 probabaly only does 500 @ 1 ohm and even less @ 2-3ohm. I had one on a CVX 12 and it was not bad at all. And on 8 gauge wire lol

Just 750 watts. The box was made by a sundown dealer. when i put the sub in a new box it sounded completely different. I wish i kept this system longer.

Damn that’s crazy cuz I wanted to get this some I have an OrionXTR1500.1 and it’s 975 at 2 ohms and 1500 watts at 1 ohm do you think that would work with this sub?

Ok I have it that way box tuned to 32 hertz but my subsonic is at 20 maybe if I put it at 25 it more excursion?

David Jacobs lpf around 75-85 hz and subsonic ‘ depends on the tune of ur box .... if its tune to 32 set it at 25

It's all about which way the port faces. I have a 91 accord sedan I have the port firing towards the left side of the trunk. With my past set ups I tried the port facing the cab with my back seat down and it sounds like ass (in my cars body style) I tried facing the trunk (sounded great) but overall I went with the popular choice of accord owners and fired it towards the side of the trunk (driver's side preferred) and now I'm really bumpin. Every car is different in the way it carries sounds through it.

How does it sound facing up? Been thinking about doing something similar with x or sa 18 but people seem to advise against facing them up
