I Loved to just watch this short video of Mr Terry. I'm proud of my Cajun heritage. My name is Huey Hebert 3rd and as a lil boy I still remember rolling down the hill next to the bridge by Terry place with my lil cousins which is Terry grand kids lil Tony and his Sister and my sister. My aunt Belinda as I call her is Terry daughter. I got so many beautiful memories of that place. An I can't imagine the memories Terry has. Me and my Paw Paw used to go dick at the camp ground right there and have a blast. Mr Billy Hebert is my Paw Paw. To all my people I Love y'all and know one thing for sho Jesus Christ Loves you too.

More communities need to know about arts programs in their neighborhood. The neighborhood organizers must do a better job to get the word out.

He says Kenry, which sounds to me like (Non)c Henry. I had an uncle called Kanas. (Non)c Ernest. Canrays father was called (Non)c Adam, Kadam! That combination of the c from Nonc and the rest of the name is not uncommon. By the way, Nonc means not only Uncle but also Old Man. Old Man Henry. Old Man Adam. Old Man Ernest!

Those are some beautiful pieces of art! Thank you for sharing this information about our native people. I had no idea my ancestors used alligator gar scales for arrow heads and for jewelry, that makes perfect sense.

I feel very fortunate to have been a founding member of Inter city Row Modern Dance Company . Mr Cox taught us well. I was a very shy teenager and dance became my voice, the way I communicated to the world. I am Andre Whitaker a recipient of the Louisiana Dance Fellowship Award

Doyle deserves all the credit and his flowers while he is here. He's been a mainstay of not only north Louisiana, but the state as a whole. He's mentored and helped so many young artists and given a lot of people a place to call home (Enoch's) while we were there. He would hate to be called a legend of the creative arts and music scene I'm sure, but he is that indeed, and we can never be more thankful of his influence on the area and the inspiration he's given us all around the area. Cheers Doyle!
