Looks like corrosion on those pins, possibly. My brother had a similar issue on his 6.0 and when he pulled the connector it looked way worse than that. It was more green.
@Mech7.34 ай бұрын
I thought that as well but closer inspection it was grease no corrosion anywhere.
@tommyallison944 ай бұрын
@@Mech7.3 that is weird! I’ve never seen that before especially with specific pins and not the entire connector. Hopefully it was only dielectric grease.
@Mech7.34 ай бұрын
Me neither and it was only on some pins and not all of them. It looked white and I’ve never any grease like that except white lithium.

Torque converter going bad - you can save it temporarily with "shudder fix" added to the trans fluid - but recommend a transmission fluid and filter change then add the shudder fix. Fixed my Ram 1500 with 172000. Seeing the results literally made it drive next to new, I am changing the torque converter and fluid change again. It will work The reason tow haul mode works is it increases the pressure applied to the clutch packs in the transmission. You are feeling the clutches slipping due to contaminated and worn trans fluid, which is made worse by the torque converter material in the fluid. If you hammer on it, I would guess it shifts perfect so would indicate what ive said above!

Yea I was leaning on converter going bad and getting it in the shop and servicing it next week. Will do a follow up video when I do it. Thanks

Looks like the trailer had no brakes if you had the trailer brake engaged and you were still able to pull into the shop. A pre trip inspection would have caught that.

Depending on where you work, as ridiculous as it sounds in this day and age, company policy could have something to do with industrial espionage. My company doesn't even let you use your phone because of all the machinery around that other companies might want. Sounds dumb I know. But also not completely unreasonable.
