I've kinda been peganapping on Il-2 lately, but this made me open up the store and buy that thing at an instant. Loved it already in the good old 1946, but expected it to rate fight better than it did after what Oleg Maddox posted about its turn rate back then (which would be pretty much comparable to the Lavochkins, being able to do a full circle continuously in 17 seconds - IIRC, it's been a few decades already)

The replays (“outro”) are entertaining and instructive. Did not at first realize that it was another Messerschmitt that was trying to steal your kill with a midair on that one Messerschmitt. One way to put the “boom” into boom-and-zoom.

Plane seems a bit slow at first glance, but sure seems to retain energy in a dogfight. Cannons don’t take prisoners with a skilled marksman lining up the shots.
