Awesome comparison Rachel! Excellent job. Thanks for doing that and for calling the company out on these issues. The customer support through them is quite impressive. It would be very nice for them to add a little drink holder to it. Especially now a days. But thank you for doing such a thorough review. Ace is so cute!!!

Don’t buy any Kelly Kettle as they are now made in China. Buy the Ghillie kettle instead. Made in UK.

Dear Rachell's Outdoor. I was amazed by the fire rope/starter that you used, which had that tube cap. I'd like to know where exactly I can purchase or make one. I wonder if you could send me a link or create a video on that one explaining how we can obtain one. Thanks. ---- "B"

They are not preseason !you need to burn off the manufacturing coating and reseason it with avocado oil or grapeseed oil.

You might want to store some latex or nitrile gloves in the base and use them when you’re emptying the containers.

Good job on your video! We have a TCEK review video coming out tomorrow. Looks like they made changes to it since your review because we didn’t have the same issue getting it to open. 😊. I’m assuming they changed it up somehow.

Wondering if those Rome pie irons (and probably the waffle irons, too) are an alloy of cast iron and aluminum or what exactly is the composition of the metal. Of all the awesome sandwiches that would melt and heat well on a fire, peanut butter and pickles would not even be on my list. That's gross. Plus you burned it. You could roast bananas in butter and dump in a bowl or glass and pour brandy or rum over for desert type thing. Other than that, meat and cheese things are at the top of the list. Maybe pickle in that. Or just roast vegetables for vegan delight. Potatoes, eggs, etc.

There are no traction boards made for spinning your tires unnecessarily on them. You didn’t explain in the video what you were trying to do during the “tests”, you only showed the car from the front with your tires smoking. 🤔

I've been thinking of getting one of these. I'm a Trangia person. I think I would mostly leave the kettle bit behind and have the rest of the kit with a Trangia spirit burner. I like the way it all nests together.

I use one of these with an small alcohol burner. I have a Webasto diesel heater in my VW T4 campervan but wanted to make sure I had a backup in case of problems when I was in very cold climes. I did not like the look of the coat of paint on the top section so I burned that off with a blow-torch before the first time I used it.

All those stoves have 1 problem .the burner is so small that they r good only to boil water in a mug . The flame is to concentrated to use a pan .

Agreed! It seems that everybody is now buying stoves that they can go out into the wilderness and have the best and fastest boiled water! These stoves are inefficient for heating up a skillet because the heat is in one tiny spot. Perfect example of what happens when all the heat is in one spot.

If you run a more AT type tyre, should be not issue gripping the board. Personally for a test, would have found some soft sand. My Subu Outback wilderness would never have an issue on that dry trail.

I don't think the mini board is the issue. I think it's your car. That is a simple dirt road. Your car shouldn't have any issue getting through that. I own a Subaru and I go through mountain pass in the logging roads in the Catskills and Adirondack Mountains in NY state with deep snow and mud. I go through deep sand and steep hills in the Carolinas and Maine. I own the same traction boards but never had a chance to use them because I have never gotten stuck. I hope I'll never have to use them. Having the right tire for the adventure also makes a big difference.
