@RandomCGaming20 күн бұрын
It’s a model made by Malyan. It’s kind of similar to a cr30. Kind of the cheaper off brand model. But it’s been a great printer! I recommend it. 👍

@RandomCGaming can I ask how you leveled it? I have a cr30 and for the love of all that is holy I can not get that shit level. I even used calipers and it still has prints peel off the bed in the middle of printing.
@RandomCGaming20 күн бұрын
@ I found a video by this KZbinr. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3uremlspbeXp8ksi=zJW3xKqrVVZCsf2n You pretty much have to get the bed to its lowest point and adjust the homing for the printer head. Once you get it adjusted you can level the bed from there. The guy in the video explains it in better detail. But if you have a cr30 it’s the same printer he uses in his video. 🙂

This printer is a pain! It takes about 2 spools to calibrate, and then its still luck. I only finished one long print successfully. Most of the prints had some issues, which I cant say where they are from. Its not in the code, not the mechanics- they just happened. And thats what I dont like about such machines. 4-5 days prints and its not reliable. 😢

You would waste too much material and the thing he has now just works, why change it?
@D.U.D.E.-LSTRMS15 күн бұрын
@rubenlopezruiz8010 there's multiple ways that you could go about material reduction (less small supports in favor of one big one that connects to support others) or subtracting material from the top plate
@iwasliveful15 күн бұрын
Waste is a wild word for a 3d printer. I easily throw away as much as I use, I have 3 printers and only one of them works consistently. The other two have been run to the ground. This is why we sell stuff at 10-15 times the cost. It takes alot of waste to make a good final product. Just finding the optimum heats and speeds for your plastic requires a sacrifice of plastic. 3d printing is so much waste that it's hard to justify not doing something for the sake of waste. Especially when plastic is so cheap.
@rubenlopezruiz801015 күн бұрын
@@iwasliveful Well that's your case as you seem to sell products and you use printers a lot. I just have one printer and use it for small things, it would not be worth it for me to waste +1 kg of plastic for something I already have and works. But again, it depends on the use you give to your printers, in your case it kinda makes sense.

RIP Terry Fox Canadian I do this too
@gearkidgames42834 ай бұрын
Fox was a distance runner and basketball player for his Port Coquitlam high school, now named after him, and Simon Fraser University. His right leg was amputated in 1977 after he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, though he continued to run using an artificial leg. He also played wheelchair basketball in Vancouver, winning three national championships. In 1980, he began the Marathon of Hope, a cross-country run to raise money for cancer research. He hoped to raise one dollar from each of Canada's 24 million people. He began with little fanfare from St John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, in April and ran the equivalent of a full marathon every day. Fox had become a national star by the time he reached Ontario; he made numerous public appearances with businessmen, athletes, and politicians in his efforts to raise money. He was forced to end his run outside Thunder Bay when the cancer spread to his lungs. His hopes of overcoming the disease and completing his run ended when he died nine months later. Fox was the youngest person named a Companion of the Order of Canada and won the 1980 Lou Marsh Award as the nation's top sportsman. He was named Canada's Newsmaker of the Year in both 1980 and 1981 by The Canadian Press. Considered a national hero, he has had many buildings, statues, roads, and parks named in his honour across the country.
