I'm not the biggest Wind Waker fan in the world (I don't dislike it, just not my fav Zelda game or anything) but THIS THEME gives me chills. I love it to pieces.

So much nostalgia. Just replayed wind waker again and hearing the soundtrack plays a huge part of the enjoyment. Fantastic game

Wind Waker was the first video game that I ever played when I was 4. I saw my grandmother playing it on her GameCube and was immediately captivated by the vibrant and colourful art style. This game has shaped me all throughout my entire childhood, and even into my adulthood. Even now, 20 years later, hearing this music tugs at my heartstrings and brings back that child-like wonder.

My mother played this game when i was around 4 or 5 and I remember watching her, and then I tried playing and I accidentally somehow erased her progress and didn’t realize, so when I told her I did I promised to get all her progress back, I was stuck on the first island because I was scared of the snot kid, fast forward to when I was around 7 or 8 I got over my fears, learned how to read and tried again, I don’t remember how far I got by I eventually gave up, fast forward to when I was 9 I actually beat the game for the first time, and fast forward to now and I still play the game over and over again, this game holds so much nostalgia and memories to me, and I view wind waker as my favorite Nintendo game since it helps me remember old and simpler times

I first played this game in 2006 while I was recovering from hernia surgery, and it instantly became one of my favorite games ever. Completely changed my taste in video games too. I didn't know it existed until I saw it on the shelf at GameStop, and the only reason I had bought a GameCube was to play Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Went back and bought a copy of every Zelda game in the store after that, as well as a DS Lite. I'm pretty sure I own every Zelda game at this point. All the Nintendo ones anyway. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess will always be my favorites I think.

When I was a kid, I used to wake up on the weekends around 2 or 3 am to my mom playing either Ocarina of Time or Wind Waker. Some of the best days of my whole life, for real. I hope we get to choose and relive our memories in our future lives. I want to relive it over and over.

I first got to know this game through Chuggaaconroy's LPs when I was in high school. I was blown away by the story and decided to buy the game and played it with my friends which I still clearly remember today. Not only was the story amazing, but the art style and the music was also exceptional. Thank you Loz WW, thank you Chugga for providing me an unforgettable piece of my childhood.

thank god me and my older brother switched our Pokemon N64 game for ocarina of time back when we were kids, this year after getting tears of the kingdom, I am really enjoying it, this is my first Zelda game since twilight princess, can't wait to play it with my brother when he comes back home. I haven't felt this excited about a game since dark souls 1 (I stopped gaming for almost 7 or 8 years)

Man this song is so nostalgic even though I never played Wind Waker as a kid. I have Super Smash Bros Brawl to thank because that game made me a fan of Toon Link. I had a soft spot for Toon Link then and I still do now.

I do not even have childhood memories of any Zelda game, yet this has a similar effect on me as it does people who do. I can not help but have vague feelings of nostalgia, melancholy, calm, joy. I can not quite put it into words. That is the beauty of Zelda music.

I hope the poster of this song knows how much this really means to so many people. I can’t believe how fast time flies. The HD version on the Wii U of all consols was my first LoZ game. I’ve played every release since, and at this point I’ve played a large portion of the series. But despite beating OoT, Majora, Link’s Awakening, and all the other classics that everyone loves to reminisce on for the gameplay, story… WindWaker remains my favorite Loz game. It just has specific heart to it that makes it so unique and timeless. I’m so happy to be part of the fan niche that adore this game as well. I pray that it at least gets a rerelease on Switch or in a future console, I really think it deserves that at least
