Considering Flavian's trying to sell the party on the idea of killing someone who's home they've just invaded and hasn't done shit to them up to this point, perhaps he's more his father's son than either of them would care to admit... 😅

Right now, I'm imagining a Celpictish would-be dragonslayer who found a lot more success hunting other arcane serpents.

Next town the party visits, they're going to run into an old blacksmith who just happens to specialize in exactly that, named Susan Hans O. ...Although considering people from Fantasy Japan falling through a yokai portal and ending up in Midgaheim is a precedented thing in this world, the bit about making "Hanzo" sound European isn't as necessary as I thought it might be when I came up with this joke.

I love how Duck can have this tense one-on-one conversation with one of the most terrifying villains in TT's mythos, that even provides some pathos to what had until this point seemed more like a force of nature than a person, and she ends it by just nuking the building they're in. XD

Hmmm... given the description given of the Beast of Gevoire in this session, I can't help but be reminded of bestiary depictions of leucrottas and crocottas (probably the latter since the former referes to Gnoll expy hyena fairies in Will's setting). Part of me feels it can't be that simple because of our heroes' difficulty in identifying it thus far, but if true it would be neat to put a spotlight on a medieval folkloric beastie you don't see show up all that often in fantasy media.

Rewatching Ross's talk with Flavian sure hits different after already having watched the end cutscene on stream. It's genuinely hard to tell whether Ross is just lying to Flavian in hopes that he'll give up on pursuing George and saving him further heartbreak down the road, or if he fully intended to tell Flavian the truth only to swap stories at the last minute because he couldn't bear to break him the bad news.
