I've heard it's bad to water after pruning. How long should I wait for?
@godisgod2 жыл бұрын
I personally have not heard that. But with these plants, it's ok to be safe and wait until the leaves start to soften (they store water in their leaves, so a good sign is to usually wait until the leaves start to wrinkle and soften a bit)

Does it really work for indoor. Bonsai? I need to buy one just not sure how to choose one 😅
@godisgod2 жыл бұрын
Oh it works alright. If your electricity is cheap and you can crank it up to give the plants maximum light, they will grow pretty well. I sold all my growing gear because I have been moving around, but when I am ready to buy again, I would either buy a cheaper light from alibaba (probably Kingbrite...I bought a light from them before and it was good), or I would buy from Chilled. Chilled makes some AMAZING lights. Amazing, but it is pricier than the ones you'l find on alibaba. Personally, I would rather save my money and buy from Chilled because I know their stuff is superior

quick question from a complete beginner here. Is the sumo-style schefflera also just 1 tree or is it a clump style? having a hard time telling looking at urs ^^
@godisgod3 жыл бұрын
The sumo in this video is one tree, not a clump style. Because it was pruned back so hard (it was pruned back to being almost 1" tall) when it was young, it branched really close to the root base. As it aged, those branches thickened into "sub-trunks", which si why it looks like a clump style. Also, the aerial roots have fused with the trunk, which add a lot of character and further create the look of a multitude of trunks
