Very nice presentation. It's vital to see the exact differences between lens and optics to really drive the point home, and not just handwave it.

that's video is super interesting, however, in my opinion, speaker must speak much better to explain his talk more correctly and more precise. I mean, even auto-generated subtitles can't handle his speech. this is the hell for people who studying English

Great insight on the RTS! It's always nice to understand what is running underneath. 18:58 Maybe because of the extensive RTS needed for lazy evaluation, and how the stack is managed, it's perceived as an overhead that Rust doesn't have.
