Stop letting this guy treat you like this. We all get heated in Apex but he needs to stop blaming his teammates. If he can't even treat you respectfully in a friend chat then he deserves to only play with strangers. This is not friendly behavior and an attitude like will never lead to progression. Great job keeping a cool head but that guy is toxic. No matter how much damage or kills you get you can't blame your team every single fucking time. Someone like him needs to stick to pubs until he can learn to calm down. It's literally rule number 1. If you can't play well with your team then you need to adapt. If you know you have a team with bad aim help them win your fights in other ways. Good content though.

Focus on your anti-airs (just use cr hp target combo unless you see it super early and want to qcf+kk) and youll hit master in no time mate. Also practice buffering drive rush cancel for your counterpoke/drive rush check cr mp and stand mp into cr mp -> back hp -> hit grab to build up those medals.

You didn't ask for advice and I'm just a Manon also stuck in diamond but I really recommend always rematching unless it's a bad connection. You learn more from losing than winning. Also you started every match frustrated by your opponents choice even when you got ryu who you wanted to fight original it's a rough way to begin your match.

Imo you're doing yourself a disservice by 1 and done-ing people, especially in match-ups you're not familiar with. You're not improving your adaptation or learning match-ups this way. This will hurt you the higher you climb. But that's just some unsolicited advice; up to you if you take it. Congrats on the rank up BTW!

I think your opinion is slightly misinformed, there are more than a couple endings. I get that you weren't impressed with the game but listening to you say Assassin's creed is better is kinda painful but that's your opinion. I think you'd get a better reaction if you described exactly what you wanted from the game. go into detail about what you don't like. You say it isn't an RPG but an action game with RPG elements, go into detail why that is so i can understand more about what you think an RPG is. Good comparison of these scenes and well-chosen. Assassin'S Creed's writing isn't any good anymore, basically since they started to just copy and paste their games. I think that's after Origin. They reinvented the formula with that one and cared about their reboot but then just did it again (but bigger - the Greek one, which I mostly enjoyed) and did it again (the Viking one, which I hated from hour 12 on forward - and it took me 5 times that to finally finish it). There are these two scenes in Origin and Odyssey where (spoilers) the little kid gets murdered and in Origin, I was shocked and had to stop playing for the day because they killed this little kid, Shadya (and of course the Bayek actor did a lot for that moment to work)... but when they repeated the same thing again, almost exactly like the one before, I went like: "Yeah, whatever. Don't even know that girl's name, and I don't care" (anymore)... Just sad, what writing stories has become in today's entertainment industry :(

One of things that people keep forgetting about, is that this was supposed to be a Valhalla dlc. Since it was supposed to be just dlc, they didnt spend much time into writing a compelling story or writing scenes. Hell, they havent been doing that at all most of the time in recent years. Their focus went down more on creating beautiful sceneries, worlds and adding rather fun gameplay to it. They just thought, hey, this dlc looks like a fair stand alone game which focuses more on old assassins gameplay rather than the rpgs we make now, lets polish it and turn it into standalone game Secondly (that's a bit of a theory of mine) what we see now is different Ubisoft. Since 2013 they have united with a bankrupting (previously known for darksiders and destroy all humans) company and my suspicion is that some of the designers from THQ have taken the lead role there as well driving Ubisoft downhill. This might explain why from narrative standpoint, their games are devolving and why we can't expect the same level of storytelling anymore from them. What baffles me the most though is that they charge the same price for a 150 hour game and a 30 hour game (Comparing Valhalla and Mirage) - that is insane

I don’t understand how Ubisoft is going backwards. I remember playing the first ac at a friends house and it blew me away with the parkour, combat, and the story. The setting of the crusades was absolutely fantastic as well. The following ac games were good but after origins I think it went straight downhill. Ghost recon wild lands was also great then we got breakpoint, wtf Ubisoft.

Yeah few news.. all we now is just a gameplay reveal in E3 on June. I doubt the game will be lanched in August.. I think they have to make a new delay maybe for early 2024.
