4:20 z50 ii which was already released a month ago Don't let go of perfectionism, you will absolutely need it. Let go of narcissism instead because this video is all about yourself and not the camera lol. And yes, you absolutely need a script for long form content as this had no structure and will make people wonder why you got chosen for trying it out. This vid is mostly behind the scenes and outtakes of this guy with no insights of what makes the z50 ii the camera it is
@mikejeffreyphoto18 күн бұрын
This was not a review of the camera and I never said it was. This was a behind the scenes look at what it's like to create content for new cameras. Thanks for the feedback but I know my audience really appreciated my style :)
@regrr177419 күн бұрын
The title's very misleading. Anyway, is this whole video shot on the Z50II? I'm really liking how sharp it is.
@mikejeffreyphoto18 күн бұрын
Sorry that you thought the title was misleading. I didn't say this was a review because it's not. The first half of the video was shot on the Z50II - up until I started the BTS of recording my Instagram video.
@regrr177414 күн бұрын
@@mikejeffreyphoto Thank you. It's nice to see how good it focuses on actual use. I only said it's misleading because I expected a video about what it was like to be using an unreleased camera but instead got a video talking about creating content on social media (where the camera being unreleased or not didn't really matter). I was surprised the camera is the Z50 II which I am eyeing to maybe replace my D5500 someday. Haven't really decided yet.

An interesting video. Some of the comments are so true . When we looked for our wedding photographer if they were too cheap I assumed they wouldn't be much good . The fact if someone charged a high amount it tells you they have confidence in what they do .

I was waiting for the lighter moment, why cut it out? 😢😂 Andrew is such a sympathetic guy, his videos made me decide to become a professional photographer after photographing for 20 years as a hobby. I saw that we are so similar somehow. And if someone so similar to me is happy doing that profession, I think this might be right for me as well. + your humor helps as well to not take everything so serious. Many years ago I worked at a photography store with mostly photographers as customers. And this was like a block in my way because I don't wanted to become one of "them", I met many bad examples. You two are showing me such positive examples of photographers, that something in me is healed. Thanks to both of you! And what an inspiring podcast episode! Many things you shared reminded me a lot of rick rubin's book "the creative act", which also helped me a lot getting my joy for photography back.

Andrew is incredible and honestly he inspires me as well. He is so genuine and his sense of humour through the dark times is incredible. Honoured to have shared the screen with him for this one and I am so glad you enjoyed the conversation. Plus well done for taking up Wedding Photography as a career. It is so fun and rewarding but unfortunately not enough of us introverts share our experience because um we're too introverted hahaha. Hopefully this conversation helps!

No one wants to be distracted by a flash blinking during the candle light reception. The correct answer are f/1.2 or 1.4 primes and careful work with the shutter speed just above the point if freezing people movements.
@jasonbodden8816Ай бұрын
Tough sh*t. The photographer has to get the shots and wide apertures and high ISO aren't always the answer. So flash is used.

I agree because you need the shots for the client. I normally use a diffuser and I use Flash Exposure Compensation FEC to control the intensity of the flash. @@jasonbodden8816
