Amen Pastor Bobby! People should get involved in something and eventually the Lord will make it clear where they are to serve. I believe many are waiting for an audible voice that will possibly never come. Even though I didn’t feel worthy or adequate, I started leading a small group Bible study in my home many years ago and afterwards was involved in Children’s ministry for years. I then did Youth, Men’s ministry and one on one Discipleship. While all were a blessing, it was when I got involved in Prison ministry that I felt most at home. I quickly felt that this is where God wants me. I absolutely love this ministry. Within a couple of months of starting, an inmate asked if he could pray for me and shared with me that a lot of the men like me there and my involvement in the program. He also shared with me that he felt that I could reach a lot of the men behind those walls. I got very emotional and almost started crying because it was during that time when I felt that I found where God wants me. I thank you for all that you do. You have always been a blessing to my family. God bless you and your family and everyone else at LPG.
