Can check if u are using RC2 controller for the test? I tested my in CE in urban environment getting 700 plus 800m😨. I have yet to test it in the open. I am Quite impressive by your video.

Looking at the map when you were going out it seems the RC was not pointing exactly at the drone in both axes. Else the blue and green line would align. So maybe you could go further.. I'll wait for the mini pro version with o4 to decide what to do

Because of the new 5.2 GHZ frequency it should perform much better in urban areas with lots of wifi interference. Im from London and I have the mini 3 pro that I have put in fcc mode. When I first bought it i used to get 400m in ce mode but now I get 800m. I was considering buying the autel nano because of the 5.2ghz frequency but there is no way to put it into fcc mode. I am hoping the fcc hack on my mini 3 pro should give equal performance to the air 3.

This is surreal distance. My Air 2S range record was a little bit more than 2km, but in a mountain with a lake area, so no other interference.

All of these range test videos I've seen so far are over flat open terrain. I'd like to see a test where it's densely forested and see how much rain you get under those conditions.

Exciting flight, you had guts. For an expensive drone I think it's better to use it for shots in other places, I've been to Netherland twice and they have many wonderful places. I have not taken drones because of the problem of permit policies and stuff. How is the Regulation with the Mini 3 Pro? Nice vid, although I don't understand why you only got white bars at 500mts, I live in Spain so I'm on CE with my Mini 3 pro, but I get white bars up to 2000mts going and coming back, maybe they need to put some receivers in the front of the drone.......lol Part 2 just watched the ending and now I see why you didn't get a signal back sooner it was because you were behind trees and a massive building, but I did enjoy the vid...........subbed.😎

That's really good considering you are at ground level and not high up. Did you crap yourself for a few minutes when it completely lost signal? I always need to clean my draws after that happens to me.

OK, you flew out 6k plus before you lost signal. The drone took a slightly different path back, probably over heavy wifi areas, but why I you having signal issues at 500m away?

Nice flight. I was a little worried though when I noticed were heading out with a tail wind. That's why towards the end of your return flight the battery life was going down rather quickly. I really enjoyed your video.

You were between 2 buildings. That would have severely hindered your range.

And also, the utmost respect for your courage in sending your expensive drone on such a long journey. Even when the connection starts to break down, you keep stepping on the gas until nothing works anymore and the thing decides on its own to come back home. 😮👍

How the hell is that possible? The only explanation for how you got a remaining flight time of over 60 minutes in the beginning is that you had a strong tailwind. I've had something similar before, but not over such a huge distance. The outbound flight was very relaxed, but on the return flight I had soaking wet hands! 😳 But it turned out well. 😂

And you did it the best way in a residential area some people range test with nothing around them either overwater or farmland your way, shows the true strength of the signal through all the interferences great video I calculated it where the video was lagging, a portion of the screen on the bottom left side you couldn’t read it but thanks for the video

Great effort when you consider flying over a built up area. And still being in CE mode I can JUST get that distance from my FPV in FCC mode but comes back at very low battery. The A3 will be a tempting buy when I can get it into FCC mode. 😎
