Roger Huston Sir Kelley Bell Frank Fraas Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association The Little Brown Jug Another Jug Week is here and as I’m doing this post. It’s Wednesday Jugette Day. My now late family members uncle and my grandfather. Jug Week would do the annual trip down to Delaware Ohio and Jug week. We had family that live right across from the Fair Grounds and they got the Jug Tickets. Since until they past we had parking and visited after the races each day. I joined the annual trip to Jug week after I graduated High School in the mid 1980’s. Sometimes by now after I started to go after a couple years the whole family would go and we’d get a motel room for a couple of nights especially Jugette and Jug. Sometimes now my late parents Anniversary and my late mom’s Birthday which would be two days later would fall on Jug Week. So we would celebrate those usually while we were in Delaware also. I was just thinking back last night when my now late uncle would each night after the races park uptown, go into the news stand and get the next day’s program wether we staying in Delaware or not. If we stayed he’d study the next day’s programs into the night in the motel room and when we did not stay he’d do the same. When we were going we always wondered why with the JUG being one of the Tripple Crown Races why no TV National coverage. As I sit watching the stream and also listening to the radio stream. I wonder what if my uncle and grandfather if they were still alive would think now about the Jug and the week with the streaming and listening to the radio coverage from anywhere. Also what Jug week and the Jug has become.

I missed the live, but watching the replay in Columbus Ohio. Thank you for broadcasting on KZbin, also. It is easier to watch on my TV, as it takes awhile to connect to Facebook lives & videos because you have to connect with the internet app.
