This is so impressive! I'm a long-term Ashtanga yoga practitioner, and I'm deeply inspired by the movement philosophies of the Feldenkrais Method and Ido Portal. So enjoyable to find the connections between movement, body, mind, and behavioral dynamics. I'm also a big fan of Bruce Lee. Over time, I've realized that athletic training often focuses on efficiently selecting athletes for competition, which contrasts starkly with the goal of normal people who seek to use their bodies more economically and maintain good physical abilities over a longer period. I'm about to join a beginner's surfing class and I'm excited about the new insights and experiences it will bring. 🌊✨

Every single modern media entertainment company engages in the concept of manipulative, selling trying to sell things to people that have no intention of buying them and no interest in what the product is simply because the product is not good for various reasons. But every single company that ever encounters. This instantly says it's not us who is at fault. For making a product that the consumer does not want. It's the consumer's fault for not wanting the product that we made.. Not realizing that the consumer is the one who determines whether or not your product and your company will continue to be viable and succeed if you are producing something that nobody wishes to purchase or consume. If you want a perfect example of this look at disney star wars. The mandalorian kind of good indo and kind of good.A lot of the rest of the stuff that they've made recently is not that good and people are stating their displeasure with the lack of quality in the content that is being produced that they are being told.You must consume but they are refusing to consume it because it's not what they wish to consume. If you were going to go to a fancy restaurant. That charged a $100 a plate. But in order to eat there, you have to sit there. While you're eating and have the weight staff to rate you insult, you basically run a South Park style rip fest on you. Would you want to eat there? No matter how good the food is no, you wouldn't want to eat there. It's the same concept with modern media and consumerism today. Just because they think that they're making something good doesn't mean that anybody wants to consume it if you're constantly being insulted for the very fact that you are a consumer of that product..

I really enjoyed watching the video. I can relate because i did a 4 day water fast too. Did not use Bone broth but took some salts to help with the electrolytes. Towards the end I had so much mental clarity but the physical stamina slowed so i couldn't gym as before.

You should take algae based omega 3 not krill. Less heavy metals and phalates if not none at all👍

My understanding is that krill have very little in the way of heavy metals, given they are the bottom of the food chain. But do you have a specific brand you recommend?

Regarding 7:00 in the video: when I am asked a question that creates a long pause in myself, I start looking for reasons that many times don't exist. Either I have never thought about this, or there isn't an answer that can be known (example: imagine being asked why you are attracted to certain body types or genders. the answer may be "i just am"). The social contract of a conversation makes me feel like I need to respond with a valid answer, so I'll quickly reach for a new story about myself that can fit-often times prefacing it with "maybe"/"possibly" language to express uncertainty, but subconsciously being affected by the consideration. The "What are you thinking right now?" question can start a conversation about something that might be false. That quick thought that I just pulled out of thin air may become a new truth about myself without it actually being true because *some* answer seems more legit than the nothingness of a vacuum where it seems like I should have a thought/feeling/story there. Continuing the conversation around that thought can make the details seem like evidence, thereby solidifying my self-story, even if that's not the real reason "why I'm afraid" (for example). For myself, these moments (either from friends, or in psychotherapy) can actually be dangerous if I'm truly being vulnerable, because it can set me on a new path based on a false premise. Curious if you have thoughts on this experience?
@robinpzander Жыл бұрын
Hi Kevin! Good to hear from you and thanks for the question. There's a lot to unpack from your question, but it sounds like it boils down to "how do I know if I'm misleading myself." In short: I never do, but I frequently think of a principle from Responsive.org, which is that the best way to navigate isn't to plot a single course and then turn a blind eye to the direction as you travel. Instead, the best way to navigate is to plan for where you want to go, and then make a million micro-adjustments to the course along the way. I come up with reasons, rationalizations, and new beliefs all the time, and oftentimes they don't serve me. But when I'm exploring, I'm looking for new beliefs and behaviors that do serve me, and only work with people (friends, therapists, etc.) who help me find those beliefs. My goal is adopting new beliefs and practices that suit me, help me live my best life, and be most effective. I do find creating a container to do this kind of exploration is really helpful because it short circuits a lot of "social contracts" you mention. There are expectations in a casual social conversation that are very different than in time set aside with a therapist or similar.. Set and setting matter!
