I thought Feb was supposed to be less busy in Hakone!? This is worrisome since that's when we're going next year. Was this a weekend or weekday? Great video! Loved seeing the area. -Venessa

Hi Venessa, we reached Hakone on a Friday. None of the ropeways were operating on that day. Only way out of Owakudani was by bus/car. We managed to get to our hotel near Ubako by calling a taxi. The next day, the ropeway between Owakudani -> Sounzan was in operations (the only one not under maintenance for that month). We took a bus from Ubako -> Owakudani and continued our way to Hakone-Yumoto by ropeway, then cable car and then tozan railway.

The rice wine looks good. But Udo Shrine is the best. A great place to visit, and a great place to pray.

I can’t believe that such long and relaxing videos of Japan in your channel exist, yet only get a few views. Keep up the good work! I will continue watching them!
