A song that is taken from Matthew 11:28-30 in the Message version. “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me-watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Jesus is referring to the crushing weight that the Jews were under with religion. He was telling them that they were no longer under the law, but now under grace. The law is still in effect for the non-believers but for those who come to Jesus they have grace. This is often referred to as "the law of sin and death vs. grace".

I watched this movie and it touched my heart. Bc I have struggled for so long. With addiction, sexual immorality, betrayal of those I claim I love over my own pain. Pain that I couldn't bare to face. I'm not numbing myself anymore. I've loved and I've lost enough in my life. The only one that helps is God. He gives me strength and love. Unconditional love.. love that I have never felt in my life before. I surrender.. 🙏

Beautiful movie...to all those suffering from deep pain, trauma, regrets, addiction and confusion-pray the serenity prayer. You will come through this. Jesus is making you stronger and filling you with hope. I pray you answer the reaching of His hand and get back up again. Repeat "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength" Philippians 4:13. Continue fighting till the very last battle with your Lord. Mental torture and depression for messing up is not the right response to sin. Godly sorrow moves you through forgiveness into change and into freedom from guilt. With Him, you are strong. God bless :)
