The difference is that women can teach, but not be the head of a church. Teaching is different from being the head of a congregation. People act like God was able to inspire Scripture, but had no idea that one day society would change. If women were called to be pastors, Scripture would have addressed this. It didn't. The requirements given apply to men and men only, which means that women were not supposed to take on that role. You can use your gifts for teaching in other arenas.

I LOVED The Flintstones film when I was growing up. Although the original series came out in the 60's, it was brand new to me in the 90's, so it felt like the live-action adaptation was right on time! I totally agree with you on feeling like certain qualities are lacking in a lot of aspects of not only film, but in people and society as well. I really feel like I was really blessed with a community of loving, supportive, and God-led family and friends when I was younger, and it's tough losing some of this as an adult. But watching films like this really brings some of that back, and I'm very grateful for it. 🙏🙏🙏
