Great construction series. I am a retired builder and I admire your respect for Thai workers. Like you I am always willing to learn even after 50 years in the trade. Also you can speak the language. A lot of people like to criticise because Thai construction people work differently. I wish you and your wife all the best for the future.

As an American who already has two houses (1 Traditional of wood in the village and 1 in the city of Udon that is concrete through my wife of 27 years), I would really value your opinion of the Ban Nawk/Thai Knock Down homes as I wish to have another house out on the farm but don't desire the hassle of a ground-up build. Enjoy your channel. Retiring in 4 years to Udon and I enjoy your channel & expertise. Todd

I looked into them here in Chumphon. As a person with allergies, I feel it would be a bad choice for me. Also, here in Chumphon, a knockdown is nearly the same price as a regular build. Thanks for watching Todd 🇹🇭 👀 🙏

What do you think of the concrete composite roof? Did you look into stainless steel roof? I am thinking about both composite and steel roof and looking for something in white to reflect the sun and reduce the heat build up. How about ventilation for the roof? Modern Thai house usually just have soffit vents for the roof which I don't think is enough.
@bugeater3824 күн бұрын
We went with concrete composite roof made by SCG. I put R 38 fiberglass insulation above the ceiling. Solid soffit with gable end vents. I want to keep bugs and critters out. Thanks for watching 🇹🇭 👀 🙏
@TeaDrinker-h4z24 күн бұрын
@@bugeater38 Bug screens are necessary behind the gable vents! You video's contain excellent details, this will be a great reference when we start to design our house. I look forward seeing the completion. Excellent work. I hear that Thai household electrical system are not well grounded. Do you have thoughts on the subject?
