Thanks guys really really useful info. I have seen a few vids involving the old BT tel port strripping down removing the cable obtaining a gismo to fit coloured wires into it. I was gonna have go, but just seen your vid on adaptors, sounds less hard work!. Thanks for sharing. btw where do you get the adaptors from? blessed be x

In my family text thread today, someone shared a video from Colorado of a grizzly bear entering a home and while walking around found a piano and briefly struck the keys. Playing...with words... I went looking for "bear" and "Steinway" to make a mashup of the Berenstain bears. And was rewarded with this. As children my parents also took a suite of rooms at the Imperial and they would come to afternoon tea dances at the Tower Ballroom followed by the Grand Theatre in the evening Blackpool was a magical place then and still is. It really is a wonderful place to come for a holiday. I have never understood why some people rush over to the continent when we have Blackpool.

Hello @johnescobar1520 The size of Screw Bolts that I used were 8mm x 80mm long. The advantage of using them was that you can fix and tighten with a spanner to make a more secure fixing. You must ensure that you use the correct size plastic plugs in the wall. They should be tight enough so they don't spin round whilst you are tightening. I hope that helps. Michael Parkinson

I worked at The le Strange From August 1972 to April 1973. Last went back to have a look in 2008. Amazing how much has changed. I had a room at the end of a corridor on the 2nd floor of the old building.The room forms the access to the fire escape now. Thanks for posting a trip down memory lane.
