Good stuff buddy. I would have filled the back of the unicorn with sand making it flat with parting powder on the sand after. Then put the other half of the flask on and filled it with sand.

You must have a focus if you want to collect coins. As soon as you collected all the cheap/common ones it gets very expansive really fast. I started out collecting coins from all over the world, but soon figured out that it was not going to work. So I focused on coins from the US, Sweden and England. Being able to afford the more expansive rare coins after you allready collected the cheap/common ones can be tricky if you dont have a focus on one perticular country or type of coin.

Star notes don’t have the same serial number of the bills they replaced. They were printed first, and then when error notes were found they would pull that sheet and replace it with a sheet of star notes. Serial numbers were sequential, and the star is there to show why that serial number isn’t sequential with the rest of the notes. As of 2024, serial numbers are no longer required to be sequential, making star notes pointless and they will no longer make them.

@@willstreasures7986 I never went magnet fishing , but I use the small pinpointer to find railroad spikes at a nearby creek where a trolley used to run! So much fun I just found my centennial 100 spike 😂

Your best bet is to use numista. Finding the coin may take a little time, but it's worth it. To help you describe your coin to google, that will help narrow your search.
