As a person who is borned on the first year of Gen Alpha (2013), I might be doomed a little bit but I can read. I just quit watching Gen Alpha things since I realized that's cringe. Born near the end of Millennials era and the start of GenZ time, I sure was able to adjust with the Gen Z while enjoying all the things Millennials created. But now as Gen Z time is coming to an end I can't keep up with the new culture that is being developed by GenZ for the wake of GenA. I would say if I am 70%Millennial and 30%GenZ, I am 0%GenA. I will never understand their choices or culture. And most of GenZ never knew about mine so I am sure GenA won't even bother anyway to understand mine too. That's why countryside would be the best location for me to settle in after retirement.

My husband and I are Gen Xers raising our daughters aged 14 and 12. They are gen alpha. But they are great kids -- they are cool yet know how to behave. They are confident, yet also know their boundaries. They do things without being asked. They are well-adjusted socially, and excel in academics. They have good moral values, too. We highly recommend the blue book entitled: "Getting It Right with Children" by Madelyn Swift. Great book, gave us parenting skills. It helped us empower our kids to make good decisions.

Not knowing how to multiply off the top of your head is really bad... and it's definitely something any child getting educated should know. The time it takes you to pull out your phone and use the calculator you should already know the answer to basic multiplication 🤦
