Found the medium video and ordered the stuff from Amazon. Having a bit of difficulty with the AP rosy skin tones so hopefully that will help.

The black wiĺl show through the flesh . So grey/zenithal undercoat would help. Or a couple of coats .

I just use the tin of tartan paint I was sent out to buy on my first day of work. It was difficult to find but it's lasted me years.

Thanks for sharing. It's crazy how much you can thin it without it breaking. Just over the line looks like 2oz which is easier for us non metric users to understand 😃

Should the flames not be brighter towards the base of the torch where they originate from? Thus moving more towards bright yellow and white towards the base and more orange/red/black/smoke towards the top? Appreciate your video, mate

Thanks for sharing. Preparing metal figures seems to becoming a lost art. It can be awkward to hold a figure while drilling, but be sure to keep fingers clear of the exit hole. The drill tends to burst through at the very end, and will open up a painful hole if your finger is in the way. Spear length. I tend to use rather short spears. If a man stands 6 foot tall, a spear that clears the helmet will be 7 foot long. Scale choices aside, I prefer a very short shaft for figures holding a horizontal spear. Makes the figures easier to rank up, and reduces the chance of breaking off the spear.

When I use a pin vice, I find the best way to make sure the hole is clean and smooth is to keep turning the drill while at the same time drawing the bit backwards through the hole. It stops any bits of swarf being left behind.

That's a lot of pressure shipmayte, after using them for a little while. They are very good. They thin down really well. And give good coverage.

It's fine no apology needed 🙂. So to stop fence sitting , I think they are well worth it. I have had lots of fun with blending them. The labels strangely are the most awesome bit. If unsure watch paintalong on Friday I will explain more.

Got mine today and also did a video (not up yet). My theory on the weird half built box is that they made them for the paints to set in loose, realized that was a terrible idea likely to lead to structural failure during shipping so decided to tray them in nice quality cardboard trays. But then the box was too small and it couldn't close. I took the time to empty it and build it, and once I put the stuff back in, the edges all blew out immediately, hahaha. I do like them so far, and the discount price made it all the sweeter.

Goodness, that is better coverage than their original army paints isn't it? I still have their dwarf paint set and yeah...not the best, but they aren't worst either.

Looks like your only using a paper towel which means the paint stays fairly thick you should try using wet pallet even with the new fanatic paints

100% agree, I was putting it on the artists paper(plastic coated). To show what it's like straight from the bottle. Gotta love wet palettes yaaarg
