I love Irish people, man. Some of the best memories in my life were laughing with Irish dudes in the middle of the night as teenagers, eating meals together on the weekends as adults, and watching our kids play as parents. Kind of wish I got to know my grandmother a little better, though. But...such is life. I don't know. Maybe I was kicking it with cousins and didn't know it. No disrespect. Might be true. It's not just Irish people. I've just been around a lot of them. LOL! Love them, man.

As an Irish American who can't ever get enough music from my homeboy Dermot, man all I can say is that I'm starving for more of that music that speaks to my DNA. Personally speaking, when I listen to DK it's the same feeling as I get when I listen to Sinéad's The Lion and the Cobra, or The Unforgettable Fire. Not sure why that is, but it's like I feel a connection.
