What do you do if you run out of thread and need to tie it off and get a new strand? Will you see the knot?
@spellboundbeadco32904 ай бұрын
HI Sarah, You would make a concealed knot once all the beading is complete (you don't tie any knots until the work is complete as you may block a bead hole that's needed later on). Leave the old thread end hanging loose (the work won't come undone) and start a new thread. When all the beading is complete you can then finish off the ends with concealed knots. There're useful hints and tips on our "how to get started' video kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHuplZaJeJlnnrM and a quick demo of concealed knots on this beadwork basics video kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2bCc6OAn9t-apY Hope that helps a bit. Let us know via email if you need more help and we can send you more info. [email protected]

Thank you! 😊 Yes I am completely zoned in/unaware of my surroundings when 'playing with beads'. I forget that I'm supposed to be sensible and neat and get lost in the 'playing' bit of the project. Yes the bigger heart is definitely better - glad we agree (great minds etc. !).
