Of course, the videos all make it look so easy, but I have a terrible time trying to reattach the ashcan after I have emptied it. I find it very difficult to squeeze the handle, but at the same time lining up on each side with the hooks. And then I have had issues with the slot. The Hook slide into getting bent very easily and then it’s almost impossible to get it put back on without one side sagging.
@ThatHobby3 күн бұрын
I had a grease fire in my ashcan and now the metal is kind of bent and I am having some issue too. I think one issue is the metal on the ash can is kind of soft. Since mine is kind of messed up now I have a few trick that I figured out to get it back on. If you bend the hooks on the ash can in a little they are easier to put back on. I will have to make an update video about the ash can.

That's to bad. I don't have any experience with the warranty. We bought ours on Nov 27, 2020 and we haven't had any issues. We keep them on our covered patio though. We have had these chairs for almost 4 years now and I weigh 245 lbs. So these seem like pretty good chairs. But sometimes things break. So I started buying the Amazon warranties. Amazon is pretty good about just sending a new one if you get the warranty. Don't give up on PHI VILLA though. Keep pressuring them to honor the warranty. They should just send you a new one. Let me know if you are able to get if worked out with them.

The Igloo coolers look pretty nice too. Let me know what you end up getting and how you like it.

The only thing that you must do is shorten the hose! The hot air stream should have the shortest way out, that means that the outlet must be as horizontal as possible and slightly upwards! I've cleaned mine by taking the front of to and all the air ducts inside as well! All the black inners i've washed in the dishwasher! The evaporater and the condensor could be cleaned this way 'against the airstream' which is better to clean them up to newstate! I've got dog's too! (6)😊. But still interesting video, I never thought of that leaf blower! Great idea to dry it next time I clean it!
@ThatHobby5 күн бұрын
Thanks! Great cleaning tips too! I was thinking of building a stand for it so that the rear vent would sit even with the window vent. That would shorten the hose too. The hose is pretty bulky and gets in the way sometimes. A nice cabinet to put it on would fix that.

The battery will eventually run out after the sun goes down. But you can take it out of the pool to charge it up by plugging it in to a power outlet. @ThatHobby10 күн бұрын
No you will not need to add any coolant unless it gets damaged. You don't need to add any water either. If you run it in Dehumidify mode you will need to hook up a drain hose though. But in AC mode you won't need to drain it during use. They say you just need to drain it at the end of the season when you won't be using it for a while.

I remember on a business trip to Saudi Arabia, there would be piles of sand indoors from where air leaked into the households and not small piles but piles that were perhaps half a foot tall or more. The amount of material that can be blown about on the wind and through small gaps in buildings is staggering.

HOA strikes again! Yeah, I was wondering about why your A/C unit is a portable one. I live in a CO-OP apartment building. While there are some rules, not even remotely as many as what HOAs across America insist on. At this rate, in a few years, HOAs will tell home-owners what they are _allowed_ to eat. Absolutely ridiculous! (I enjoyed your review though.)

Got this and no water ever drains and it keeps shutting dowm 😮
@ThatHobby14 күн бұрын
If you run it in AC mode there really should be any water draining out of it. The water is recirculated to cool the compressor. You only need to hook the drain hose to the top drain if you are running it in dehumidify mode. If the unit isn't getting enough power it will shut off the compressor. Try testing it by plugging it into some different outlets. I had it plugged into the same breaker as my freezer in my garage and it kept shutting down too. But once I plugged it into an outlet on a different breaker it was fine.
