@@shahbash2434 thanks for the question. If you want to buy a home and need financing, I would have a lender review your credit report. Mortgage credit reports are different than personal reports or car loan reports. Most mortgage companies have services they can provide that work directly with the credit bureaus. Was thinking the housing sales stagnation was possibly from the interest rates and the unknown election results. My house has been on the market for three months and hardly anyone has come to look at it, eventhough we've dropped the price several times. Turns out that's happening to ALL of the housing market.

Housing are on the market longer due to several reasons. One of the reasons buyers have been giving us is the election. Others are rates and insurances which are affordability issues

Now I'm stuck with a house payment that's draining me financially every month until it sells. I gambled and lost. We know that we are priced to sell. It's definitely a waiting game now.

The best move afterwards is taking some of the extra cash and placing it toward the mortgage. That's my plan and still pay the house off early and save on overall interest.

Refinancing your mortgage is very situational. Lots of times it makes sense and other times it does not. Just all depends on the person and their situation

Also, with the gift of equity does the family member (seller) have to pay taxes on that gift of equity? And if there's still a mortgage on the loan, can that gift of equity pay off the current loan? And the new loan will be a refinance under family member they are selling to?

So tell me I live in Iowa I bought a house last year payed 1405 a month taxes and insurance are included my payment raised by 40 this year. So the reason it went up was because of taxes and insurance price going up? Will it always just go up through the year? I’m completely clueless to this

Thanks for watching. If you have a fixed rate mortgage your principal and interest will never change. Only thing that will change is if your insurance and/or taxes go up or down. Your payment will then adjust up or down. Hope that helps!
