Sorry, I know you commented a year ago! I don't get on here much, lol. That is amazing they didn't turn around for her! I would have felt like a fool for not turning around. I think that actually happened on American version of "the Voice" this past season. Or else it was that she made it through 1 round but got booted the next. And this person had been made a pretty big splash in America about 8 years ago or so. Julia Robert was her name, I think.

@Chrismcredmond Well,i had added her as a friend on myspace a few years ago and then saw hero n the Voice of Ireland and I went and added her on Facebook and she said she was so delighted with all the private and public messages of support and encouragement that she had received after the show was aired. This is not the end, no, merely an unexpected turn of events.

@dublinbarterclub She was on voice of Ireland and Sharon Corr was one of the judges but no one turned round so she didn't get through... don't think she ever get her break which is such a shame!!!!!

@dublinbarterclub Yeah and she tried to make that comeback on The voice of ireland and the judges didn't turn around Sharon Corr was shocked when she saw who it was!!!

@filmsensei You are so right. Tara took some time out to have a baby and is now making a comeback. I think this song would be brilliant on a movie soundtrack. She does need to get some decent management.

@boneshk Am inclined to agree. i have not seen the Corrs website but Tara is so talented and he had not managed to make a big star out of her. All it takes is an eye for publicity. Maybe Mr hughes does not have the killer instinct.

@pachloc In his defense, he was doing it as an audition so it probably seemed a lot slower as he played it in his head :P I know that happens to me, all the time! haha :) KEEP THE GREAT WORK GOING!

I like this version of Jenny's chickens. Mostly the Irish trad songs are too hasty, it's like the fiddlers are playing hasty because they have to leave or pee or something. So this is just soo nice.

I've always loved her even when she was still with her siblings in their previous band. I felt that she deserved to be given the spotlight (no offense, I like Andrea too) glad that Sharon is sharing her lovely voice with us.

I'm sure Sharon would take the Karen Carpenter comment as a huge compliment. Sharon's parents used to perform Carpenters songs when Sharon was little and sister Andrea was still in the womb.
