They work by either a sensor called a “predictor” that calculates the trains speed and activates the crossing this is the most common one on main rail line, second type is that a big or small bit of track has a circuit in the track and when that train passes over the track circuit, it actually the crossing, and as soon as the train leaves, the circuit deactivates crossing so second type is the most basic crossing detection

@@Leo1C2MEXASI live in airdrie Alberta and airdrie is a city so it’s a no train horn zone but sometimes trains blow there horns at crossings when railfans are present

If so press space the hiss is the brakes releasing the click is the brakes applying then do w twice to go from reverse to neutral then forward and then s twice to go back to neutral and reverse then give it a few seconds and it should start moving right click is the ditch lights the button on the top left of the stand is the wipers and the button top second to left is front lights and the button top right is the radio and button bottom right is the rear lights
