I have a 2011 yfz450r and when I replaced the the plate clutches and the plate friction plates with new ones. The clutch is too loose. Since the plates are new and thicker, the pressure plate sits further away from the push rod and not engaging the clutch. If I re install the old ones the clutch feels the way it should. Any idea why this is happening? I mean, at some point the bike will need new plates. Thanks for the help in advance

Thanks for this mind opening video, I have a YFZ450R so I made my mind clear. I wonder about the yamaha banshee, which I also have, I ride on sand dunes mostly, not a air master but a lot bumps on the road, will be a really improvement go for +2+1 aarms stock travel or better go long travel instead, I dont want to spend a ton of money if the difference is minimal in performance.
